Role Overview
The product team at Rippling focuses on deciding what to
build to best meet customer needs. This means understanding the market,
customers, and working closely with various teams.
In this position, you’ll lead the efforts for Rippling’s US
Payroll filings product. You’ll work with the design and engineering teams to
build it, collaborate with legal and compliance folks to meet regulations, and
coordinate with sales and support to roll it out and keep improving it.
What You’ll Do
- Take
ownership of the plan and delivery for payroll tax filings across the US
for RIPPLING customers. The company files millions of tax forms and
payments annually.
- Understand
all the legal and regulatory payroll requirements for different US
regions.
- Set
the plan for the product—what it aims to achieve and how.
- Work
closely with teams like engineering, design, operations, legal, and
compliance to build and launch the product.
- Write
clear product specs and user stories to help guide development.
- Participate
in regular development cycles to deliver the product on time and on
budget.
- Communicate
with customers, sales, marketing, and support teams to get feedback.
- Oversee
product testing and validation before launch.
